Our chiropractic care is evidence-based and tailored to your presentation. We use spinal manipulation, joint mobilisation, and soft tissue techniques to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve function — all grounded in current clinical research.
We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including lower back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, joint stiffness, and disc-related issues. Every treatment plan begins with a full assessment so we understand not just where the pain is, but why it's there.
Chiropractic at ALGN is never passive. We combine manual therapy with progressive exercise rehabilitation so you leave each session with tools to support your recovery between appointments. Our aim is always a clear discharge plan — not indefinite treatment.
All ALGN chiropractors are registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), the UK's statutory regulatory body for chiropractic.
A tailored hands-on treatment designed to reduce pain, release muscle tension, and support physical recovery. Your therapist will assess your specific needs and draw from a range of techniques — including sports massage, deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, and mobility work — to target areas of restriction, discomfort, and accumulated tension. Where appropriate, additional methods such as cupping or taping may be incorporated.
Sports massage at ALGN is suitable for everyone: from active individuals and athletes managing training load, to those dealing with desk-related tension, post-injury soreness, or the physical demands of everyday life. We also provide pregnancy massage, with our therapists trained to adapt position, pressure, and technique to support safe and comfortable treatment throughout all trimesters.
Each session is fully individualised to your presentation, goals, and response to treatment — there are no fixed protocols, only what works for you.
Lymphatic drainage therapy supports the body's natural lymphatic system — a network of vessels and nodes responsible for fluid balance, immune function, and the removal of metabolic waste. When lymphatic flow is compromised or sluggish, fluid accumulates in the tissues, contributing to swelling, heaviness, fatigue, and reduced recovery capacity.
At ALGN, we offer both manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) and pressotherapy. MLD uses gentle, rhythmic, skin-level techniques to stimulate the superficial lymphatic vessels and redirect fluid away from congested areas. It is widely used in post-surgical recovery, lymphoedema management, and as a restorative treatment for those experiencing immune dysfunction, fatigue, or chronic fluid retention.
Pressotherapy is a device-based treatment using sequential pneumatic compression to actively promote lymphatic flow and venous circulation through the limbs and body. Comfortable, non-invasive, and deeply effective — it is particularly beneficial for lower limb oedema, post-operative swelling, heavy legs, and circulatory support. Sessions can be used as a standalone treatment or combined with manual lymphatic drainage for enhanced results.
Both treatments are available as standalone sessions or as part of a broader care plan at ALGN.
